A 17-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a 19-year-old man last week in Regina, Saskatchewan. The victim was to purchase a phone from the culprit, so they met up in a parking lot to do the exchange. Things took a turn when the culprit entered the victim’s car, threatening her with a knife, and driving her out of the city where he sexually assaulted her. The suspect then placed her in the truck of the car before driving back into the city. Thankfully, the victim was able to escape the trunk and flee from her captor. The culprit made a court appearance where he was faced several charges including, but not limited to, attempted murder, armed robbery, and sexual assault with a weapon.
